Secretary Atkinson read over the above names and the President announced that no objections being heard they were the duly authorized committee on Rules and Order of Business. Secretary Atkinson. When the committee on Credentials meet, the credentials of the different delegates having been handed to the gentleman just outside the door, he will be before the committee when you have appointed a time and place for meeting. He will be there with the credentials that have been handed in thus far to the Secretary. Those who have not handed in their credentials may hand them to the member of the committee of their delegation. W. N. Nason. (Nebraska.) I desire to make an announcement for the information of the delegates. There has been provided by the local committee on arrangements an instrument to Teceive and send telegrams from this floor. Also, if you have any communications with the city by telephone, we hava a telephone instrument on the stage. President. The next thing on the program is an address by Gen. J. C. Cowin of Omaha. Is General Cowin in the room? I regret to say that he does not appear to be present, and ask what is the further pleasure of the Convention? Gov. Fishback (Arkansas.) As it is now nearly four o'clock, I move that we adjourn until ten o'clock to-morrow morning. A Delegate. May I ask where the committee will meet and when? President.
